Moment by Moment

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;
Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Never a trial that He is not there,

Never a burden that He doth not bear,

Never a sorrow that He doth not share,

Moment by moment, I’m under His care.

Never a heartache, and never a groan,

Never a teardrop and never a moan;

Never a danger but there on the throne,
Moment by moment He thinks of His own.

Never a weakness that He doth not feel,

Never a sickness that He cannot heal;

Moment by moment, in woe or in weal,

Jesus my Savior, abides with me still.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;
Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

I love hymns. I came across this hymn the other day during one of my devotions. Hymns speak of His truth, His power, His character, His faithfulness, and His strength. I feel hymns have a depth to them that you can recall to mind to give you strength and hope for every situation.

Our Puppy Nantucket!

A few months before we got married we got a little Old English black lab puppy. We named her Nantucket and for short we call her Tucket. We love her. She is so sweet! She loves to follow you all around the house, she likes to be right by your feet. We have really enjoyed taking walks and playing with her.

She does the cutest thing with her head when you talk to her, she tilts it back and forth from side to side, it is like she is really trying to understand what you are saying! Here a few pictures I tried taking of her doing it.

She loves the little kid pool we got her. It is so hot in Texas in the summer time, hopefully this will keep her cool!

She rides well in the car when we go to Tyler to hang out with my family or go to the lake!

Lean Hard

"Child of my love, lean hard,
And let me feel the pressure of your care
I know your burden, child. I shaped it
Balanced it in mine own hand; made no proportion
In its weight to your unaided strength
For even as I laid it on, I said
I will be near and while she leans on me,
This burden will be mine, not hers;
So will I keep my child within the
circling arms of my own love.
Here lay it down, nor fear
To impose it on a shoulder that upholds
the government of worlds. Yet closer come:
You are note near enough. I would embrace your care;
So I might feel my child reclining on my breast.
You love me, I know so then do not doubt;
But loving me, lean hard."
