VA trip

We had a wonderful trip to VA. We enjoyed visiting Todd's family and friends.

Our little family visited a few sight seeing spots...Blue Ridge Mountains. Unfortunately, the day we went it was overcast and cloudy. But I was determined to take pictures... so we have pictures with overcast/clouds and no mountains... I promise there are mountains behind the overcast/clouds.

We went to Historic Downtown Charlottesville. We enjoyed shopping in the cute little shops and   eating a yummy lunch at a restaurant that served organic/locally grown food.

We drove around Liberty University (where Todd went to college and where his dad is a professor).

We also visited Poplar Forest which is Thomas Jefferson's summer home. It is a beautiful home and scenery. I love this picture of our Lil' Guy there!

Blessed Life!

I'm one blessed mommy to spend these summer days with my sweet son!

A few pics of life around here...

 Playing and exploring toys

talking and babbling away

 reading books

 enjoying his new ride

eating some yummy homemade baby food

wearing his baseball shirt to cheer Uncle Canaan on

celebrating his "graduation from head school" (meaning he doesn't have to see the orthotist anymore and doesn't have to get a helmet!)

making sure cousin takes a nap

playing peak-a-boo

I'm cherishing every moment!

Happy 6 Months!

Look who is 6 months old! We can't believe it! We have been beyond blessed with our sweet baby boy! He loves to snuggle, play, sing songs, and smiles all the time!

Sweet Keepsake

Lil' guy's shadow box. I finally put together his shadow box for his nursery with things and pictures from his birth.

Love his sweet going home outfit! Stay tuned for pictures of the final touches of his nursery...

On the move...

Lil' guy is on the move these days... no not crawling, no not walking but riding. There are lots of perks having an older cousin... She can give you rides!
Lil' guy loves it when Lil' miss pushes him around in the walker!

There maybe a few bumps into the walls "uh-oh"... but no need to worry
Lil' miss can back it up and keep going!
