Wedding Shadow Box

I put together our wedding shadow box. I bought a white Shadow Box from Pottery Barn. The shadow box is made of wood painted white and lined in a linen and cotton canvas. The box came with little white and black pins, that you use to pin the items to the canvas.  I put different  keepsake items from our wedding including our wedding invitation, wedding menu, a few small wedding decorations, Todd's boutonniere and an invitation envelope our calligrapher wrote our names and wedding date on. As soon as I get our wedding photos I may add one to the shadow box. It was easy and fun to put together!

Now his team is working hard to make it to the Little League World Series!

A Baby Shower

This past weekend I went to Tyler to help my mom host a baby shower for our sweet friends Mrs. Richey and her daughter Megan. Megan is having a baby girl in a few weeks. It was a sweet bird themed shower. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Take me out to the Ballgame!

This past weekend I had the joy of watching my little brother Canaan pitch for the All Star Team of Tyler. For this team you have to be picked by other players to be on it. It is a great honor. My brother is an excellent pitcher. His team is doing very well and hopefully will win state! I am so proud of him as he has worked hard to get here.

Going Away Party!

This weekend Todd and I hosted Allison's going away party. Allison is my old roommate before Todd and I got married. We will miss her, but we are excited for her and the new journey she is about to begin! We had a wonderful time celebrating her with a cookout at our house before she moves. 

Todd did an amazing job grilling the hot dogs and hamburgers. We had around 40 people, so he had his work cut out for him. The hot dogs and hamburgers were delicious!

Allison had some sweet friends that helped with the food and making the cookout special for Allison!
