Cute as a Button Baby Shower

On Saturday we had the privilege of hosting along with friends and family a couple baby shower for Callie, Troy and Baby Bohl. It was a beautiful day!

The Dessert Table

We played a fun little game with the grandfathers to be! They had to answer questions about babies and guess flavors of baby foods. It was so funny! The grandfathers to be were good sports but have some studying up to do before Baby Bohl arrives!

The aunt Brittanys and grandfathers to be!

Best friends due just a few weeks apart!

Callie, Troy and baby Bohl were blessed with wonderful and thoughtful gifts from family and friends!

Getting ready to celebrate....

I've been busy getting the table decorations and banners put together for the baby shower. Can't believe it is just a few days away.... then sweet baby Bohl will be here soon after!

Enjoy a few pics!

Baby Shower Projects!

Here are a few of the projects we have been working on for Sweet Baby Bohl's shower.

cute flower ball decorations

we cut out all the flowers

then pinned them on a styrofoam ball

They are just perfect for the little white urns!

Onto the fabric flower wreath
We took some of the leftover fabric my sister Callie has been using in the baby's nursery.

made fabric flowers

wrapped fabric around the wreath then pinned on the flowers

I think it will look so sweet on the front door for the shower!

My Sweet Hubby!

My sweet hubby gave me these beautiful roses for Valentine's Day!
The wonderful gift of being loved by Todd is a blessing I'm so grateful for!

Be My Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I did 14 days of Valentine sweets for Todd! I had fun silly sayings like "It's a joy to be married to you" paired with an Almond Joy candy bar. He received a fun sweet everyday for the first 14 days of February! My sweet tooth hubby loved it!

A Few Projects...

So we are in baby shower prep mode over at our house. We have been doing a couple of projects around the house.

Todd did a great job staining the backyard deck!
Before:

After:

We had trees trimmed.

We had cement laid in an area at the end of our driveway. Big cement truck on our small street.

Todd also took down the old ugly railing on our back stoop. I'm so glad to see that old thing go!
(already in the trash pile!)
